Macey 1 year old staffie girl so beautiful needs rescue SAFE
MACEY SBT female, approx 12mths old. A teeny tiny little lady who still very much a pup. Desperate for cuddles. Has been good with other dogs at the kennels so far. Will be fully vaccinated.
Macey is seeking a space with established, reputable rescue which:
Is non-destruct (unless on the advice of a veterinary surgeon)
Vaccinate, microchip and neuter all dogs prior to rehoming (unless a vet advises against it)
Conduct a home visit for all foster/forever homes before releasing the dog
Offer LIFETIME rescue back up to the dog - the dog must be able to come back to the rescue at any time.
Fully assess all dogs in a safe, controlled environment before introducing them to members of the public. This is either in kennels or in a very experienced, child free, cat free foster home able to separate the incoming dog from existing dogs whilst it is assessed.
Ensure no pound dogs are placed straight into homes with young children. Dogs must be assessed for their suitability for young families before coming into contact with under 10s.
These dogs are poundies seeking urgent RESCUE SPACES. They cannot be rehomed direct to the public. They need to be fully assessed and given essential veterinary care before they are deemed ready for rehoming. These dogs need urgent RESCUE help NOW. All are way over their 7 days and at risk of being put to sleep if the kennels reach capacity and rescue spaces cannot be found before kennels have to be cleared.Any rescues offering spaces to these dogs MUST:Be strictly non-destruct (unless on the advice of a veterinary surgeon)Vaccinate, microchip and neuter all dogs (unless a vet advises against it)Home check all prospective new homes before releasing the dogOffer LIFETIME rescue back up to the dog - the dog must be able to come back to the rescue at any time in the future if needed.Assess all dogs in a safe, controlled environment before allowing them to come into contact with members of the public. These dogs have no history and may behave differently in the pound environment so careful assessment is essential.Ensure no pound dogs are placed directly into a home with young children. All poundies must be carefully assessed for their suitability with children over a period of time, before coming into contact with children under 10.
