Poor Maddie now seeking rescue with female foster, poor little mite #staffie NOW SAFE

SBT x Whippet female, probably under 1 year though precise age unknown. One of the saddest dogs we've ever seen. Arrived at the pound in a very poor condition and absolutely petrified. Maddie is under weight and her coat is dull. Looking at her nails, she does not appear to have ever set foot on concrete, suggesting she has NEVER been walked. Has clearly been beaten, is absolutely petrified of male staff and will snap if she feels cornered. With female staff, she is noticeably more confident, showing herself to be rather cuddly and keen to be with you - this little girl has a lot of love to give, she just needs to know she is safe around you. Maddie is desperate to belong and to get involved - she will stay very close and quietly follow you around but then run away when you turn to acknowledge her. Maddie shows no aggression towards other dogs and recently plucked up the courage to mix with a few of them at the kennels. Can have a 1st vaccination.
