Albert is being moved to our EB we cannot let him die now has RESCUE!!!!
ALBERT is at immediate risk of PTS - he needs a rescue space NOW (not ready for rehoming)
ALBERT - White american bulldog male, a big boy but still a baby- thought to be under a year old. A very friendly boy. Dog test pending. Will have a 1st vacc.
Poor Albert has done nothing wrong but his breed is against him The dog warden has advised us that she intends to PTS this boy asap unless we are able to find him somewhere to go NOW; she has been told by local rescues that American Bulldogs are not rehomeable so just PTS!
A £75 neutering payment is available to any rescue fitting the following criteria which is able to offer Albert a space.
Rescues offering spaces to Albert must:
Be strictly non-destruct (unless on the advice of a veterinary surgeon)
Vaccinate, microchip and neuter all dogs prior to rehoming (unless a vet advises against it)
Home check all prospective new homes before releasing the dog
Offer LIFETIME rescue back up to the dog - the dog must be able to come back to the rescue at any time.
Assess all dogs in a safe, controlled environment before allowing them to come into contact with members of the public. This is either in kennels or in a child free, cat free home where they are able to separate the incoming dog from existing dogs whilst it is assessed.
Ensure no pound dogs are placed directly into a home with young children. Dogs must be assessed for their suitability for young families before coming into contact with children under 10.
